Hey, I’m Eli. I dig through the corners of Steam to find the strange, the overlooked, and the oddly charming games you might’ve missed. Nothing fancy here—just me, a cup of coffee, and whatever game stole my weekend.
I’m Eli, and I play a lot of games—especially the ones that slip under most people’s radar.
This blog is just my corner of the internet to talk about the stuff I enjoy. No reviews for clicks, no hype trains.
Sometimes it’s a weird little gem, sometimes it’s a total mess—but I’ll write about it either way.
If you’ve ever said “how did I miss this game?”—you’re in the right place.

Here’s what I’ve been playing lately. No scores, no fluff—just a few honest thoughts on games that caught my eye (for better or worse). Updates happen whenever something grabs me hard enough to write about it.

A chaotic, strategic deck-builder where hell fights back with style and trains.

Cruise through open Japanese roads, master drift lines, and build your own rhythm behind the wheel in this laid-back racing sim.

A creeping strategy-survival game where madness is your most loyal ally and Cthulhu always watches.

A quirky rail-shooter where love literally hits you in the face — now with an extra pin-up twist and a whole lot of blushing chaos.

A few games are already sitting in my library, and I’ve started messing around with them. Full reviews coming soon — once I’ve had enough time to break things, get stuck, and fall in love a little.

A handmade sci-fi adventure set deep underwater. I’ve barely scratched the surface, but the stop-motion vibe is already pulling me in.

First-person driving survival with a haunted twist. It's just me, a beat-up station wagon, and a lot of weird science.
May 6, 2025
Retro horror with PS1-style visuals and a creepy abandoned theme park. I’m already suspicious of every shadow.

A one-man survival game… where you play as versions of yourself. It’s philosophical, strange, and I'm still figuring out how not to argue with me.
#fromme
Sometimes I just want to jot things down — thoughts between reviews, small wins, weird bugs, or stuff I noticed while playing. Nothing too serious, just some notes from my side of the screen.

Sometimes readers and friends toss game suggestions my way — and I listen. Here are a few titles that landed in my inbox recently and got me curious enough to plan a proper look soon.
Saw this one mentioned a few times — cozy vibes with crocodiles? Sounds chaotic in a good way. Planning to try it on a slow weekend.
Yeah, I know I’m late. But I’m finally going to sit down and see what the dino hype is all about.
This one’s been glaring at me from my library for months. I think I’m mentally ready. Maybe. We’ll see.
Everyone keeps saying I need to try this. I’m not sure I’m emotionally prepared, but the art has me hooked. Soon, definitely.

Not always. I try to play enough to really understand what the game’s about — how it plays, what works, what doesn’t. Some games click instantly. Others? I bounce off after 10 hours. If I haven’t finished it, I usually mention that in the post.
Nope, not yet. I buy what I play or grab it during a sale if I’m curious. It keeps things honest — no pressure to say something nice just because I got a key. If that ever changes, I’ll be upfront about it.
Because I’m human. Sometimes I start a game and get stuck. Sometimes I replay the same scene ten times trying to take a decent screenshot. And sometimes I just… forget what I was doing. It happens.
Absolutely. If there’s something weird, underrated, or just plain interesting — drop me a message. I can’t promise I’ll cover everything, but I love finding stuff I wouldn’t normally try.
No scores here. I’d rather just talk about what stood out to me. If something made me laugh, got me stuck for hours, or made me feel things unexpectedly — I’ll tell you. But numbers? Nah, too robotic.
Mostly, yeah. I tend to enjoy the scrappy, strange stuff — games that feel personal or weird or slightly broken in a charming way. But if a big release genuinely hooks me, I’m not against going full mainstream once in a while.
